    great job! I'm glad you explained it the way you did because I was trying to understand the reason one would want a plywood tank.

    I work in a fiberglass shop we recently built a 10000g holding tank for a seafood supply company but we had to use special gel coat and resin so there was no chemical seeping. I'm very interested in building one of these. We didn't use plywood though we used foam boarding and after applying 18 08 material with FDA approved poly vinyl ester resin it was more than strong enough to hold water and fish and was light enough for two guys to move

    i guess i forgot the question in that. what thickness plywood did you use and glass. What did you use for edging on the top of the tank
