Just picked up a beautiful new coral beauty from a LFS yesterday...I just love how the purple / blue POPs on this fish... especially under my T5's

roughly about 1 inch big it seems like..

So far hasnt ate any msysis or Nori but is constantly picking at rocks... which me luck on getting it to eat... she / he seems healthy though, no signs of stress that I can tell.

Is that a QT tank? My CB came in with flukes, and a couple bacterial infections with popeye and finrot. Looked great at the store, and now I have Furan 2 Erithromyacin, and Prazipro.

No, unfortunately I don't have a QT... I know I know... really should have one set up...

This is just an acclimation box I use to drip acclimate the fish...

Sorry to hear about your fish... REALLY hope this isnt the case with me... that would suck!

Yeah, havn't posted much but was just lurking and reading for the most part...sorry Oldfish: My fathers been in the hospital for the past month so I've been spending practically day and night over camping out...

Finally needed a break and something to cheer me up so went out fish shopping and came home with this little beauty...

Now just need to get her to eat...

Beautiful coral beauty. That was my very first saltwater fish over a year ago and is still alive and well. Its hard to find them that pretty. Mine ate flakes on day two and its been a real hardy fish. Will not touch any seaweed though. Try and get some angelixir by brightwell. Its a great food soak with sponge for proper nutrition and contains marine protiens that promote eating. My fish are spoiled with that stuff.

Sorry to hear about your Father. Hope he gets well soon.

IMOPE, CBs tend to do best with a quality angelfish blend that includes marine sponge and spirulina. Mine also preferred finely chopped clam, squid, and krill over brine or mysis. Variety is the key to long-term success with most any angel.
