    Well, how many times do I not follow advice... I bought a small 1" blue maxima for $30. It was tank raised from same dealer the store uses, local guy grows and sells to the lfs. This was at the aquatic experience in Chicago.

    I couldn't pass up the price, so wish me luck!

    You'll be fine zesty. Spot feed the clam a mix of phyto and zooplankton twice a week and watch you cal, mag, and alk.
