Looking through Spectrapure units trying to decide what's best for me. I'm on a well.

I would love to buy something that has the booster pump already installed and tuned. Do you offer anything like that?

Can a unit sit covered outside in high humidity (75%+ on average?) So I can install it outside and just run a line into the house?

And finally, I will need some replacement filters and would love to be pointed in the direction of the unit I'm buying so I make sure I get the right ones.

(I was thinking this, but with a booster pump already installed. MaxCap 2:1 Automatic Flush 180-GPD RO/DI System)

I would be concerned about the heat when using the unit outside. If I remember correctly, very warm water is not good for the membrane.

    Hi there,

Assuming your house pressure fluctuates, you would benefit from the booster pump only if/when you're pressure runs below 45psi. Depending on when you make water this may not even become a factor. However if you do have consistent low pressure a booster pump is very easy to install onto any of our systems, but if really need us to install it, you would discuss this with sales via a phone order.

You won't want to mount the unit outside, since the varying heat/cold will affect the performance of your unit.

Replacement filters are always listed in the manual for the unit you purchase, as well as under the "Related Products" on the system's page on our website.

Well water is pretty harsh on membranes and also contain higher amounts of organics so you'd want to replace your pre-filters regularly and run a 3:1 or preferably a 4:1 ratio if you do not have a water softener.
