Mine also kept falling off. Suggestions were to place it in a clam shell or some sort of container so he couldn't fall off, or what I did was to place my clam on a rock and then up against another rock and and then I put another rock on the other side so he is secure in one spot. Some have suggested surrounding it with rock rubble. If you needed to I guess you could glue down the little pieces of rubble onto a larger rock. Mine's been fine ever since I kind of loosely wedged him between the other rocks. clamsdirect.com is a good site to go to so you can learn more about clams and maybe get a few more suggestions of what to do.

Here's a pic of mine. As you can see mine is surrounded on all sides . I don't think there is any way he can get out of that.

Tell him to give it some rubble around it to attach to, thats helped me in the past. I put some smaller rocks around it, making a "bowl" of rocks. Power heads hitting them won't help things either :)

Your all my friends, but I don't like shipping stuff ;) Now if you lived out here, it would be different.

    Thanks Gresham! ;D

If you are talking about the little orange one towards the bottom front of the tank, it is a ?sp? Lyre Tail Anthias ?sp? I have 4 of those.

What if he can't what? Get rubble, or get the clam to stay? I've had a few not like any place I put them.

HL, I do it for a living, ship fish and corals that is. On my time off, I try not to dabble in my occupation. Besides, I hate using anything other then airlines to ship with, they all suck IMO.
