Milliepora being eaten?

It looks as if my milliepora is being eaten? I dont even know how to explain it. it looks like an overnight bleaching, but the problem branches still have a green color to them, just no polyps. I checked the coral all over and didnt see anything. The rest of the coral is healthy and showing no signs of stress. Any idea on whats going on?
Params are as follows:
Salinity 1.024
Phos 0
Nitrite 0
nitrate 0
Calcium 425 ppm
Magnesium 1275 ppm
DKH 10

 

Slowly raise your sg to 1.025-.026 for a reef. Other than that params look good.

Is it getting blasted by direct flow?
What's your lighting and the corals position in the tank.

Can you post pics of the coral?

 

Need to review what types of fish and inverts you have please.

Can you put up an image even if you have to pick up the frag to get the image.

We need to rule out acropora eating flat worms.

 

The salinity flucuates between 1.024 and 1.025, lighting is Par38 LED bulb, over a biocube 14. Not direct flow, but pretty strong random flow.

It looks like the polyps have just sloughed off. last night before lights outi noticed a tiny area with these signs, then today almost a third of the coral has no polyps, and tissue still attached a bit but off the coral moving aound in the flow. All this happened within 24 hours, and no changes have been made.

 

Clown Goby did the same thing to me!

I've had them for many months, they just eat coralline algae. This all happened within 24 hours.

 

Curious, what color are the asternia?

 

Might just be a case of RTN, if you see no flatworms and this happened overnight.
