Acans are very forgiving, hardy and can acclimate to various lighting schemes. They have feeding tentacles that will be evident, especially after the lights go off. They will feed on various foods from zooplankton to small cyclops and rotifers and possibly brine shrimp.
Be careful of placement with this species of coral as they are very aggresive and potent and usually end up injuring or killing anything near by!

I start mine off with target feedings of brine or mysis shrimp a couple times a week. I also feed coral freenzy 1-2x a week sometimes instead of mysis. Once they start to fatten up a bit, I do advance them to pieces of krill. This will usually make them nice and fat.

I find that most acans you see at the store are starved because they are not target fed, so you will really see your acans pop after a couple weeks.

Depending on what type of lights you have, depends on placement. They will dull in color wiht bright lights, so I place mine on the bottom of the tank sheltered a little...I have MH. I also have placed mine on rocks so they can grow onto the rocks as they will usually take off in the right setting

your pics looks good. These are one of my favorite corals
