Those have been around for awhile. Thats where somebody got the idea to use them for fish reef lighting. 90% of things for reef tanks came from green houses which is no surpise.

    Nice!
If you go to their homepage they have enough LED stuff for your aquarium, car and to turn your office into a personal disco. Wild.

hmm... I'd be curious to know what a DIY of PFO's Solaris LED System would cost using LED's from this site.

"The (PFO SOLARIS PROTOTYPE) I received has 25 3-watt LED lamps (13 blue and 12 white) with an advertised Kelvin rating of 20,000"

The Solarus we have here has 75 3 watters in it alternating blue with white. I built a set with 50 whites and then then another with 20 blues to get the look I wanted and they will blind you Far Far more out put then the solarus unit Had to make our own transformer 12 V with 175 Va to gwet them lite up.. Good LEDs are expensive I can get some cheap but they are not worth squat all LED are not created equal. I'll fire them up and post a picture this week.

Clearly LEDs sales the panels that are plug and play for $80.
