i have now joined the lps club today. bought this frag with polyps on it. running a reefbreeders value fixture that sits 2ft above the acans. running whites on lowest and blues on 50%. seemed to have opened up ok with these settings. will be feeding the tank lrs reef frenzy twice a day and spot feeding the acans once a week. i will take any advice so i can sit back watch them grow. picture is distorted i think because of the bow in the glass.

Feeding a tank twice a day me lead to some unwanted algae..... But the acan looms great.

For me feeding acans is a plus. I've got quite a few and I feed them a few times a week and the growth is amazing. I mix it up with various zooplankton and quality frozen foods like LRS, mysis, ect. I also have the filtration to handle a large bio load. Feed your acans, you'll see a difference. I wouldn't just feed micro particles though.
