Yea hes definitely not doing that. He closes and opens up alot, probably stressed being that i added him in my tank a little over a week ago. Also my hermit crabs are always bothering him so im taking out the bigger ones

A little over a year, only a 30 gallon though. I just checked on him and hes opened up and looks good except for the bleached color. Im getting a 75 gallon tank soon will he be okay to move?

If it's the same tank as the one you've stuffed full of angels then that anemone is going to be one of many issues for that tank. Also, a 75 will not be an upgrade for the angels incase that comes up. If your feeding the nem then the hermits are trying to get food most likely so I'd leave them be. The hermits are not the issue.

I believe it's the light.... Anemones require a great deal of light.... They are a photosynthetic invert. They have a sugary type bacteria that lives on them and gives them there color, it's called zooenthilya, this is what it sheeds when it bleaches. This is a indication of it being stressed. But the zooenthilya requires light. So I would get a good lighting fixture.
