    Hi All,

Just wondered if anyone else had a pairing of two different species before?

Our sand sifting Goby and Mandarin are now hanging out together all the time. They sleep in the same log and are always together in the tank.

Not a problem - just didn't know if this is common?

They both need food. They are extremely skinny.Sand sifting fish usually do end up starving in our closed systems. It may be too late for the Mandarin though as they need to eat constantly and its hard to fatten them up.I would quickly add some pods if possible.:(

I know Vinny didn't exactly answer your question, but he is right on those fish looking hungry. It is the first thing I noticed when I saw the post. Not sure on the size of our system but those mandarins need a ton of space and pods to live. Best of luck.
