I can't let go of my CS3. I'm trying to get use to 6, but I honestly can't use it as well. So, 4 is plenty fantastic for your needs.

Trent are you trying to tweak color balance, etc of the raw files?

I have a Nikon 5100 and the Nikon software recognizes the raw files on the computer and loads them in the software for tweaking. Gimp also will load the raw file and show similar options.

Well the big thing here Matt would be converting like 50-100 pictures at a time. As far as gimp is concerned the software is great! However my only gripe is not being able to convert a bunch at a time. (unless i am dense and you know of a way to do it) lol

Ahh.. batch processing. That is certainly doable in photoshop, not sure about Gimp but I would not be surprised. I'll look at it this week.
