Would a phosban reactor 150 be a good choice? Found someone online selling it in my area.

LMB's can become belligerent as adults. That plus they often starve to death, I recommend finding another omnivore, or easier to feed algae eater.

Yes, that is what I ran on my 55. You still need a pump, in case it doesn't come with one. Something in the 400GPH range (MJ400 fits the bill!).

How about a tang? My lfs has a sale for a sailfin tang for $20 and i have been reading they go crazy for hair algae. Any thoughts on them? Also i cant decide if i want to make an algae scrubber or the phos reactor. Leaning towards the algae scrubber.

Your tank is way too small for a sailfin tang as they grow very fast and get very large.

Yea i have a buddy that told me to get a sea hare. He has one that cleaned up his 100 gallon in a week he says. He said if he can find it hes gonna sell it to me so that would be great cuz then i know it will tear up hair algae. Ive read a few threads that the person bought one and it didnt touch the algae so if his weats it then ill be good.

Just had someone tell me a long spiny urchin would be better than the hare so i think im gonna go with that. He also said it wont knock over corals like other urchin do. Any thoughts on that?

I just bought a spiny urchin yestersay because of GHA. Put it in last night and every spot he stops at is spotless. Seems to work at night because i haven't seem him move around with the lights on. I also added 9 mexican turbo snails.
    Good luck!
