Glass top issue... and solution!

    So i have a couple glass tops, and on the side where i had my HOB skimmer, the lid wouldn't fit right, so i made a template, took it to a glass cutter, and then siliconed on some needle point mesh.

    i think it turned out pretty good!

    i'm not so much new to the having to DIY aquarium, as i've had many years experience with freshawater, i hate, Hate, HATE, kits, i.e. you'll always have some sort of DIY with an aquarium if u get what u want...

    but this is the first time i've have to cut glass to make it work the way i wanted.
