i like african chiclids they are colorful and interested in what you are doing so they are out alot but when they get bigger you gotta get crafty when adding other fish or they will literally rip them apart.
heres a pic of my last A. chiclid tank

i dont suggest the white coral its exspensive and you half to pull it out and bleach it white then dry then soak the bleach out and so on. but there are alot of sick black slate chiclid tanks on line

Why not do a planted tank? That'd be pretty sweet.

You could totally do a 75 long with either African or south American. Right now I have a clown knife ( he's cool), a jack Dempsey and a parrot cichlid with my tiger Oscar. These are central American, the Oscar is sa. Cichlids are fun and amazing fish. They grow big with personalities. Once trained and bigger they will eat out of your fingers and let you "pet" them ;) ImageUploadedByTapatalk1341809426.086403.jpg ImageUploadedByTapatalk1341809445.450638.jpg ImageUploadedByTapatalk1341809463.755007.jpg ImageUploadedByTapatalk1341809486.181856.jpg

I would do a big (5-7) school of demasoni and a pair of electric yellow.
