True but I saw those lights over a reefers house this weekend and he told me thats what happens to him granted he had them running at 100%. He was dealing with some gha but later cut them down to about 30%.

    Correlation doesn't prove causation.

Nearly every halide bulb on the market puts out more red than a Radion, and I've seen a lot of halide run tanks that are algae free.

thanks, I'm running the light in the preset natural mode, with the depth set at 21 . 45% power to start.
i didn't do the pink moonlight. did 3 hours of a blue with a touch of red 8 hours of darkness. I'm guessing thats why your bringing up be careful of the red. because i said i was going to do a pink moonlight.

    i'll take some for you.

every thing looks so nice it sparkles ( i don't think the pics with capture the sparkle though :( ), I'm extremely happy with the water color and the crispness of this light, how much detail i see in things and how the colors pop.
this light is actually giving my tank more depth.

Good point. It just dawned on me not everyone's tank is the same. My bad. I guess I jumped the gun. Sorry Pink. Learn something new everyday.

No I wasn't. I was referring to the red leds in that fixture but Mike corrected me on that issue. That wont be an issue. I have red moonlights on my tank.
