    Hi all,

Time to introduce the newest member of the ecoBAK family.

    ecoBAK PLUS

Original ecoBAK is arguably the best selling, best reviewed and best performing bio pellet on the market.

But with all the similar products out there I just wanted to take the next step in bio pellet composition. ecoBAK PLUS is a Multi-Polymer, Multi-Carbon Source bio pellet. It's a blend of different polymers. The polymers are selected to encourage a greater diversity of bacteria in your system. Well known experts like Murray Camp have written that multiple Carbon sources encourage multiple strains of bacteria which leads to better organic consumption and less nuisance algae.

Original ecoBAK works great. ecoBAK reduces NO3 and PO4 down to very low levels in most systems. ecoBAK PLUS is somewhat more aggressive, faster acting and the greater resulting bacterial diversity will result in elimination of more nuisance alage incuding Cyanobacteria. ecoBAK PLUS also includes a single concentrated dose of an upcoming product, ecoBAK SPARK. ecoBAK SPARK is a unique liquid Carbon product containing not only Acetic Acid and traditional Carbon sources but also an extracted soluble polymer from our own ecoBAK polymer.

Both products will continue to be offered, original ecoBAK works great for most systems. ecoBAK PLUS hits organics a bit harder and would be better for stubborn or challenging systems.

Also at this time I'd like to thank the ReefKeeping community for the support you've shown over the years and for making ecoBAK the great success it is. We are a small company that is relatively unknown in the industry compared to our king-sized competitors but looking at the frequency of Warner Marine product usage in "Tank of the Month" type systems over the last year or two has been gratifying. Other companies may have market share but we have the trust of high end reefkeepers and that's a fair trade to me.

I will definitely try this when my current stock of original ecoBAK is depleted.

    Jon,

I would love to try this product. I have been using EcoBak for 18 months and can attest that it works...and works wonders! Where can I get my hands on this product?!

Sigh, I was running EcoBak on two out of my three tanks. Now I have to dump the Zeovit and run this on the third. Thanks.

Update! We're already starting to see and hear feedback from early ecoBAK PLUS users... and the results are awesome. We're seeing significant reductions of PO4, NO3 and improved water quality and clarity after 2 weeks!!

    Jon,

I just ordered a supply of EcoBak Pro from the fine folks at a marine Depot. I have a tank that is running EcoBak currently and about half the pellets in there were added to replace depletion about a week ago.

How do you recommend I make the switch? Do I replace half then top up from there? Do I need to replace fully and just suffer a few weeks while it kicked in? Alternate suggestions?
