The guarantee policy on the website clearly states that if a coral is DOA you will get a credit to the store, not a refund. So to use the credit you have to place another order.

Totally I agree with you one hundred percent! I want a superman digitata more than anything, but I'm leary of the only place i've found it. If i ordered 5 frags just to get that one and it was dead or discolored i would be pissed. Its imporaant not only o hear people who are happy, and why they are happy, but people who are not and specificaly why they are not happy.

Well he doesn't have any more of the monti in stock. He can't do anything about that. Wait to use your credit when he gets more in.

Apparently you aren't getting the point. They did not make you buy the frag pack you chose to. You knew the risks of shipping corals and should have read their policy before ordering. They seem to have tried to work with you on the situation. No company would ever send out another frag and pay for shipping when what they did did not cause the death. Seems to me as though you have no clue what you are doing since you couldn't ID red bugs. All you have to do is google it and bam...if the picture matches it is them. You also did not do any research on red bugs or else you would have found out that they do not feed on montis. Suck it up and move on. They offered to break their policy AND send you better coral to make you happy. You refused to take them up on the offer for when you want to order something else from them.

A little harsh, but the point is there. Buying coral online is a risk. There are some guarantees, but usually they involve credit or a refund for the lost. IMO, it's unreasonable to ask for them to ship one frag that died all at their expense. I"ve had corals die on me before from shipping and I had to pay shipping, that's how it is.

ok. I know how to use google. A few of the bugs were red but the lfs said they were too big to be red bugs I also know other well respected reefers in my area whom believe that red bugs will also feed on montis. What they did did cause the death of the coral fyi. there was very little water in the bag and they seemed to have flattened them tight and this caused the coral to be out of the water during shipping. YOU shouldn't assume that you know what other people have knowledge of.

Are you sure you are 24? Seems more like you are about 10 with your little comment there...

You won't get any sympathy from people here when you black mail them for a coral shipped at their expense and refused offers to make it as right as they possibly could. Stop buying coral online and just go buy it at your frag swaps and make everybody happy.

Ok. I think I can close this at this point unless AquaSD wants to add more.

    From AquaSD...
