Sorry for the delay in updates...ive finished up my canopy and the plumbing. Ive installed my leds again. Had them in there as a base idea. Gonna upload a pic of the new rock work. Let me know what you guys think, or any improvements i could make. I had a really hard time replicating the one i made as an idea. I wanna get this in there before i get sand. Should have it up and cycleing soon. Should i wait until maybe a week or 2 until i get fish t get my skimmer or should i cycle with it? 20160608_182817.jpg 20160608_183607.jpg 20160604_110055.jpg 1465444063807-1800440379.jpg

I'm loving this build but I do have a critique. How easy is it to pop of that top to get access to the tank? I dig the way it looks but if you are feeding daily will it be an issue.

Takes about 4 seconds to take the front of the canopy. Gives me complete access to the tank for cleankng feeding and all the other fun stuff we do in our tanks. There are 4 little pieces you twist out of the way and the whole front comes off.

20160611_141943.jpg Filling it up tonight when i get off work gonna let it cycle for a while before adding anything. Stopped by one of the lfs to get a new filter sock. I was looking around and saw a pair of these. Anyone have any idea the name? I assume some sort of anthias. Sorry thats the best pick i can get its in one of theor higher tanks and its not labeled. I asked and we got sode tracked talking about special orders.

I dig it man, lots of good places to tuck corals in and the sandbed looks sweet with the shells. Are you rocking those two primes?
