Crocea clam foot issues

    hi gang i purchased a crocea clam yesterday as an active addition to my tank, when it was in the bag for the trip home you could see a stem with threads and im assuming this is the byasall, now that has come off and was floating in the tank, so my question is was that the foot as well and what is my clams fate?

    It will probably be OK. Place the clam on a smooth, level, flat rock and let it be. It should attach itself over night.

    i hope so id had to think ive doomed something that quickly lol. its half on a rock and half on the sand bed it hasnt moved since i placed it there which i think means it may be happy

    so if in say two or three days it hasnt attached whats the likelyhood it will survive? ill put a pic up in a minute

    mine came from live aquaria that way! she's doing fine so far and has move 3 or 4 times! you should be fine!
