coralline advice

    This is very disappointing to me as well. When I switched tanks I actually scrapped a whole bunch of coralline out of my old to transfer to my new. Lol. I thought it was healthy. Oh well, at least it won't hurt my tank.

    It's good on rocks, anything else it becomes a nuisance algae. Most urchins will eat coralline however they essentially are facilitating it's spread by releasing "small scrapings" into the water column.

    On a side note, urchins' mouth structure is really cool. I believe it's called an aristotles lantern.

    it's a matter of taste imo - I really like the look of coralline (I better given what my tank looks like lol) - once it starts, it will take off pretty consistently.

    Just keep in mind corraline is really just like sps. It will absorb the big 3 so the more you have the more you will have to replace.
