I probably spend more time on my FW than the SW. I usually spend an hour of two every other week trimming plants. My set up is a high tech setup with 3X54W T5HO and pressurized CO2. I dose weekly after doing a 25% WC.

    Micro-bubbles!

A new development - I got the tank and sump cleaned out, then added some heavily rinsed "natural gravel". The tank is running, full of water, but is cloudy due to micro-bubbles in the water. Under good lighting I can see the darn things swirling around in the tank.

This is something I have never experienced before. I've many times seen the "new tank" bacterial bloom but never all these micro-bubbles.

I can't find any leaks in the return pump line from the sump.

    Any ideas about the micro-bubbles?
