come a long way

I started in this hobby with freshwater tanks for years and was always scared to jump into salt water. I wanted to make the transition so badly I had a salty taste in my mouth. Finally I stumbled upon 3reef and read different reviews and opinions about how to make the switch. All I can say is I wish I did it sooner! With 3reef and all the great people on here, making the switch was a breeze. I have learned more in months on 3reef than years trying on my own. Honestly I don't think I would've been as successful if I didn't have 3reef, I truly believe that. Ofcourse I have made mistakes with stocking my tank and different filtration and I'm sure I'll make some more on the way but that's part of the hobby, learning from mistakes. This forum is unbelievably informative with accurate information from people in the hobby, not just assumptions. I love hearing different stories and experiences from people first hand. Its also great to work so hard on something you love and have people congatulate you on your success. I never knew what a protien skimmer was until I joind 3reef, pretty funny. My success Iin this hobby is due to hard work and 3reef. To all the wonderful people and moderators on this forum I THANK YOU. I wouldn't have the nice tanks that I have now without your service.
