very nice rob. one question tho, do you let the eggs hatch in the tank and then remove the newly born fry? because i see your clowns are laying on a rock that looks slightly large to regularly remove.

At first i was collecting after they hatched, by scooping and siphoning them out. Now they lay the eggs on a removable tile. makes life alot easier.

the hardest part was getting the food right. now that I have that down, the truly hard part is selling the fish. Slow economy, super cheap fish coming in from asia, makes it hard to constantly sell my fish(at the price i think they are worth).
And as far as time, i'd say less than 5hrs a week.

I think the hybrids look amazing! That is a really sweet setup you have. Thank you for posting it. It seems like you have this down pat. Hopefully your fish don't stop spawning now that you have it set up!

vetteman - in the beginning i had probs with growing phyto and rotifers. the phyto always crashed, then since the rotifers eat phyto, they would crash too. Once i switched to instant algae paste, my rotifer culture were always strong. with the algae paste there was no need for a phyto setup, that gave me alot more room.

stepho - my pair spawns every 10-16 days depending on the season and tank temp. But i have not pulled a nest since the end November, i had no more room for baby fish.
