I purchased a cabbage leather less than a week ago and it has stayed shriveled up since we purchased it. I realize that it can stay like this for up to a month. The dealer had a hard time removing it from the rock it was attached to. However, now the outside of it has crystalized with very hard "fingers". Is this a normal reaction or am I loosing my cabbage?

I moved this to the coral health forum so you might get better response, plus it'll be easier for people to refernce this thread in the future ;D

I'm not sure if it's "normal" but it's happenned to me many times.  They seem to recover from it often.  Try getting btter flow over it.

I picked up a lil' Cabbage a while back. It took at least a week to rebound in my tank.

Seems to like a lot of light. Really didn't open up much until I put the halide on it later.
