CUC is always a good idea... besides these clowns are juvi's so at best you are 2 - 3 years away from the female being large enough to spawn (2.5 - 3")so you might as well enjoy in the mean time.

If this works out ill gladly take one of those off your hands! awesome pair of clowns. Hopefully the babies will resemble their parents!

... but wouldn't it be even cooler if they had offspring that weren't picasso? lol nature is crazy like that sometimes lol.

Yeah the snowcasso's are smaller then what I thought they would be. I forgot how small 1" really is lol. The fish look great though. I'm really happy with them. Can you suggest a CUC that would be good for these two set ups? I was thinking about emailing John at reefcleaners.org and seeing what he thought as well.

I will do my best to keep you mind when the time comes. Just remember that the female (which ever one that will end up being) has to be between 2.5" and 3" lol. We still have a little while. ;D

Got a mated pair of clowns today with a tank set up I bought. He said that they have already laid eggs, but he thinks that he sucked up the fry when doing a water change. Here are some pics of them. They are bigger then the snowflakes I have.

Can anyone tell me exactly what kind of clowns those are in the pics above? I want to say they are Ocellaris (Amphiprion ocellaris).

Ok so who knew this lol?

"They are ocellaris, the eyes are a dead giveaway when trying to tell the difference, an ocellaris eye looks all black with a black iris surrounding a black cornea , where as a percula eyes look simular to a human eye, there is a yellow iris around a black cornea."

Got this from another forum, but still very good info lol.
