Blue/Green SkimMate?

    Hey y'all. So I recently installed a new protein skimmer on my tank. So far, I've been very happy with it. Today I checked on what it was skimming, and found that the SkimMate is blueish green. I'm very confused, as before now, I've always gotten tea-colored skim. Any ideas?

    That will do it lol

    You protein skimmer cleaned the phytoplankton right out of the water causing your Skimate to turn green

    What kind of phytoplankton? How much did you dose?
