Okay guys, I have been trying to get the right spectrum and intensity. I have been trying to dial in my lighting for over six months. During this time I have had a few swings in calcium and alkalinity, so I don't believe that lights was the only contributing factor, that said I now use a very good salt that has seemed to get this under control. But I believe from dialing (trying to dial in) my lighting I have managed to stunt growth and even kill a few coral like ricordeas and a nice colony of watermelon zoas. But I have managed to keep very nice bubble tip nem that has grown leaps and bounds and just split. I would like some help since I have only been into this hobby one year this month. My knowledge is very limited already and even more so with lighting. Here is my schedule. Image1465693365.889714.jpg

Run 17500k and adjust it from there. It may jisy need to have an intensity boost. Like run your blue and deep blue around the 75 %. Violet around 65%. Uv around 85. See what that does for you.I like the look of around 16500k but i adjust mine a little from that spectrum. I have 2 ai primes over my 25 nano. Its jot cube and has a 30 inch foot print. I didnt want any shaded corners.

I meant slowly get to that level. I wouldnt go to fast there is an acclimation setting. You can set start date and end date with what you want it to start the lvls at and rise to desired levels. Its a good feature.
