has anyone had issues using using the ddc-01 controller where the lights completely turn off at the end of the d1, d2 and d3 cycles? the drivers for my leds are Mean Well ELN-60-48P driver; one for royal blues and one for whites.

i don't understand why they turn off at the end of the cycle. you would think, after they turn off at the end of the cycle, the state of the leds would be the same brightness when the cycle just started (5%?).

They're not designed to stay on, unfortunately there's no moonlight cycle built into that controller. Also, the PWM drivers usually require about 11% before starting up (the D drivers will come on at about 5%).

It would have been nice to know that before I bought the controller. I wasn't using it as a moonlight. I have a seperate setup for moonlights. I simply want to extend the time my LEDs stay on. I don't understand why they just shut off at the end of the cycle. That wasn't noted on the website. Also, when my timer kicks on, there is no problems with the LEDs kicking on. It ramps up as it should. It's only at the end of the cycle when it ramps down that the LEDs turn off.

When you say 11%, what do you mean? 11% of what? Set currant?

The user manual states "Set your wall timer for a time slightly longer than the duration of the respective daylight" which I have it set to and the LEDs shut off before my timer.

I have asked for a refund.

Hey guys, thanks for the shout out. :)

My lights "discharge" and flicker when power is lost.

I retired the Pwm controller when moving over to Apex Controller with same "discharge" results .

Very annoying but you can't have everything with DIY sometimes.
