Hey guys/gals, my toadstool is on a rock above and to the side of my elegance for as long as I can remember, but for some reason it has slumped over and got some pretty nasty burns from the elegance . can I use fishing line to wrap around the toadstool and anchor to my return nozel or overflow box to help it stay up. I want to try and limit the damage. unfortunately placing another rock near the toadstool is not an option due to other coral around the the toadstool. Im open to suggestions..TIA..

It is a dry heat, yeah right !
    Sure you can do that.

Sometimes this slouching is just an intermittent problem, that resolves by it's self. Intensifying the flow directly to the Toadstool always worked from me.

Ok thanks I will try both. Now to find my fishing line. Lol. Haven't seen my gear all winter.
Also is there anything I should do for the damaged part of the toadstool or should I just let it be. On approx 1/4 of the cap part.

Lol get it medical alert, leading alert system for falls and other medical emergencies. Sorry, saw the title and I couldn't help it ;D

Try increasing flow first, then the fishing wire. As corailline said, the flow always works for me too. Where do you go fishing?

Lol yeah I was thinking that when I came up with the title. I'm deff gonna try adding more flow. I have to dig one of my back up pumps. As for fishing I just go locally usually around the ny nj area since my brother and most of my friends have boats.

Increasing flow alone may help. IMOPE, leathers prefer more flow than mushrooms or LPS corals- 30 - 40x is not too much.

If your elegance is hurting it yes tie him with line and move it away from him it will attach itself when it's comfortable in his be location
