Algae taking over tank

Probably not, but some might munch on the green stuff!

 

I read somewhere in this thread that emerald crabs eat Dino, so I three a couple of those in there. Can't say if it was the crabs or the Dino had already ran its course.

 

I have two emerald crabs in my tank because of some bubble algae that i had and they suck lol...they haven't touched anything in the tank.

 

it's possible i think, just depends on how lucky you are with them. so far besides the lights out, the only other thing that seems like is working for me is Corailline's suggestions; the reduced feedings and stripping the water of everything in it. Also not changing the water at all to not add any vitamins that will break down.
