Just curious if the advertisements on this site are implemented from 3Reef or if some are from cookies from other websites?

I just saw a strange advertisement having nothing to do with aquaria and I don't think my work computer would have gone to any website advertising mail order brides.

Some are from 3reef, some are Google ads. The 3reef ones also show up in the sponsors section.

I was gonna ask why you would be visiting a mail order bride site, but nevermind... I might not want to know the answer. Haha

+1 Google is everywhere and plants ads anywhere it can. Personally, I use Firefox with the AdBlock Plus addon... no ads anywhere for me. :D

Thank god someone else gets my twisted sense of humor.;)

I actually just saw a question posted in honesty by a man, he was asking why he was getting a certain type of google spam. Oh I laughed.

@mdbostwick I get the same ads in the margins. I pm'd Matt when I first joined asking him why, I got no reply, and yet he still made me a mod. :laughing0

So in closing I have no idea why, I am just messing with you.

That's a great tip Mr Bill. I hate getting spammed while looking for mail order brides.

I know. I just thought it was strange that my new work computer had mail order bride ads popping up.

On my home computer I have adblock as well and get none of the nonsense ads. :)

Pretty spelled out in this thread, but if you see any google ones like that bride stuff - right click on it and try to pull out the destination URL and send me a PM with it.

There is a blacklist filter I can add those too. I add to it from time to time.

This is a commercial site, the ads keep the lights on and the site free for users. Thank you for your understanding.
