    image.jpeg So my LFS hooked me up with this coral but I forgot the name of it. But anyway see the stick look thing coming out the side. It shoots a string looking thing out and it get over everything any idea what it is ?

    Looks like a Candy cane (Trumpet) coral. To your other question it sounds like it just a spionid worm. We have a bunch in our reef and they never bother anything. I miss our candy cane coral, they grow pretty and some of our heads took the shape of hearts. Yours is really bright green too, good score.

    Nice score on the coral. It goes by a few name, toxic green candy cane or radioactive candy cane etc...

    The tube could be a vermetid snail... Personally I'd try to get it out of the tank. You can just break the tube.

    No shouldn't affect the coral at all if you remove it, but vermetid snails send out lines of mucus and "fish" for stuff in the water to eat. That mucus can be pretty bad on the coral.
