So the journey begins like this, I'm planning on drilling the back of the tank and installing an internal coast to coast bean animal overflow mounted on a dark piece of acrylic ( to hide the plumbing) that will feed an external box. Got this idea from Tilian's build, hopefully it will turn out as nice. The dt is in the living room and the sump will be directly under it in the basement. The plumbing will be 1.5" to feed the sump and 1.0" return to the dt. the sump is an old 40 gal that I used to use for a fresh water tank, which will house a Vertex omega 150 skimmer, a fuge and some extra rock which didn't fit in the dt when I set it up a few years ago. The return pump is an Iwaki WMD-40RLT which has roughly 540 gal per min at 12 ft head. Skimmer and return pump still have to be purchased. There will be a hydor koralia evolution 1050 for additional flow in the dt. Lighting will be a Current USA controllable led set up with dual actinic and dual daylight. Pics to start as soon as the project gets underway. Any comments or suggestions are welcome.

Sounds like it is going to be an awesome build!

Seems this thread would serve better in the "Show off your fish Tanks!" category. So you may see if it can be moved.
