    Hippopus Tridacna: One of the largest Tridacna, also known at the Bear Claw, Strawberry, Horse Hoof. Does well in substrate, so large that it does not attach to substrate once it gets medium size. Suck up calcium like no tomorrow.

    Your Squamosa and Crocea are gorgeous DSC.

    Murball, you can never have too many clams! Thank you corailline, that's gotta be the nicest hippopus clam ive ever seen. Once my wife sees this pic I have an idea on what our next clam is going to be.
