I only recently noticed these very small creatures. They live on the underside of rocks and in the shadows, not in direct light. They are less than 1cm long, appear to have feelers/tentacles/bristles at the one end and are attached firmly on the rock at the other end.

    urn sponges.they are harmless and even help filter the water.i usually find them in darker places,underside of rocks and in filters.
