Default wheres your salinity

Where do you keep your salinity, after looking at my hydrometer, I realized I had been keeping mine between 1.021-1.023, and I think I need to bring it up, but that was the range on my hydrometer. Where do you keep yours

Eagle, I beleave that hydrometer is about about as accurate as as hitting a bulls eye at a 100 yards with a tooth pick.

All to often those things are poorly calibrated and any air bubbles that do get hung on the needle will throw your readig off.

Success is always there if you buy a quality "refraction meter"

but ansewering your Q""
I keep my SG @ 1.024 to 1.026 ( I try to keep dead on the money at 1.025 )

In my old 24, I kept it at 1.025 and everything was good. My new 40 that just finished its cycle, I keep it low at 1.023.

let the corals decide what salinity they like.it'll be between 1.023-26.check whatever tool you use for checking salinity against your lfs regularly because they do break
