| You know, after this thread, i checked my exp. dates and my water kit (the whole kit) expired last month. never would have known. thx. _________ 75gal hex, 2-40w T12 48", odyssea 48" 4x65w PC's w/ lunars, 50lbs LR, 80lbs LS, gold banded maroon clown, dog faced puffer, juvenile blue angel, 2 dominoes, 1-4 stripe damsel, yellow watchman gobie, lawnmower blenny, mano, purple chromis, striped grouper, mexican turbo, astrea and red foot snails, striped, red and blue legged hermit crabs, coral banded shrimp, white and purple bubble coral(very little), red and green mushrooms, orange gorgonian, candycane Tanks, No Thanks. | I had some instant ocean Alk test kits that had expired, sent them back and got some with the same exp. date. After fianally getting new one I noticed the exp date has been removed from the bottle and packaging... Go figure! |

| Hey luna, I know this is an old thread but thanks for the info as I have switched to api from salifert because of the bad batch of alk kits that they didn't wanna deal with. Several of us kept contacting salifert and never got an answer. I find the api kits way easier to use and accurate enough for me.

| Don't think I have ever had any test kit last more then a year.
But will pay close attention to exp. date next time I have to buy.
I like the Api Test's...
