| I Use Amarican Pharmaceuticals And Found Them To Be Accurate. I Did Not Care For Red Sea As I Found All My Tests Results To Be Inaccurate...their Tests Take Longer As Well.
I Don't Like Seachems Calcium Test Kit...to Involved And I Found It To Be Inaccurate Too Many Times. Everything I Read On Testing Is That The Test Kits We Use For Our Aquariums Are Basically To Give Us An Idea Of What Are Readings Are At But It's Not An Exact. _________ 20g

| Salifert is having issues with the accuracy of their ALK kits, right now they are sending their kits out with reference solutions to make sure the kits are not bad. I use Salifert for all my testing but I also run checks with API ALK kit to compare. My salifert were reading 11.2 DKH with 3 different kits, but API was reading 7 DKH and sometimes 6. After a month of this my coraline was declining and I lost a couple of corals I contacted Salifert, ever since I've been using the API and the tank is rebounding nicely. API test kits use very good reagent, so for the money you are getting a good kit with API Alk, I can only speak for this kit not the others. Only downfall to API is it only shows you in 1 DKH increments and salifert with show you to the tenths, but for quick generalized tested my money is on API. |

I hadn't heard any comments on their kits, until. So thanks and karma to you!
