You just wind up chasing your tail and spending $ using additives. _________ AG "125," AquaC EV 180, 30 gal sump, "SCWD", 80 lbs LR, CoralSeaLife "Moonlite" Hood, PFO 250W HQI Mini-Pendant (SPS HQI 14000k bulb)

| How did it get so High HI,
MAybe you used to much Baking soda?
Try to only use saltwater buffers to adjust your KH, only after you check your level.
If you only adding one element it will cause a cascade of problems.

| Are you dosing with Kalkwasser? It will raise your pH. A high alkalinity level will help to maintain a high pH. Try adding a little vinegar to your water, the acetic acid will tend to lower your pH level, just be careful not to doo anything to quickly! _________ 125gal.w/Mag9.5 return(dual megaflow)>Mag7 pump Aqua Cev180skimmer.Wave2k Hamilton Reefstar(2)250watthqi(mh)pend.a Yellow, Naso Tang Red Lip Blenny Percula Clown Demoiselles Niger Trigger F. | Have you tried testing it with another test kit? Perhaps the one you have is contaminated or expired. Not saying the other suggestions are not good ones...but can't hurt to double check first. |
