I just purchased a few Mangroves to help stabilize my system . Does anyone have any experience with this? Tips? Thanks so much!

How many did you buy? A few only removes trace amounts of nitrates from the system, there are much more efficient ways of getting the bad stuff out of our water, such as water changes, protein skimmers, algae scrubbers, chaeto, etc.
However, I love the growth of the roots, and once mine grow some more I will put them in my DT. HTH

I really like mangroves. I have twenty in my thirty gallon fuge. I believe mangroves are underestimated in removing nitrates I feel they do a great job. Make sure you spray with a spray bottle at least everyday (the more the better). Keep them under basic fuge lighting and you should be fine.

Try to avoid submerging the leaf growing tip. You will need 1 per gallon of water in the system to get decent results. Misting the leaves with water is a good idea. Make sure the water is RODI water.

I forgot to mention you don't want leaves falling in your water. If they do and you notice it, then remove the leaf as quickly as possible.

I've seen the best growth misting 3 times a week, with the leaves about 5" from a CFL 6500K flood light.

Great tips everyone ! I purchased 6 bunches of them to see how I do? I think it's around 5 per bunch. Basically not even close to what I need but a start. I do water changes every two weeks and have chaeto. Brand new cone skimmer good for 300G. Phosban reactor with media for nitrates and one for phosphates. I have a 24'' t5 light double bulb for sumps. What else can I toss in the sump? I have a temporary sponge material diffusing bubbles. The mac drive motor is powerful and draws bubbles through. I have to set up the staggered plexi to stop them over the winter.
