| Kalk drip in auto topoff Ok im going to start to dose Kalk.I wanted to do it via the 25g drum i use for topoff.its connected to my sump with a float valve.
how much should i add to the drum? is this going to be a problem since its going to be add in the topoff water during the day when evap occurs?

| cool i'll try that and see how it goes.Whats the best way to add it to the drum? seems like 50gms will cloud the FW.is it ok as long as no chunks go in to the drum? |

| Author Eric Borneman says that kalkwasser should be used the day it was made due to its instability. When I dose with Kalkwasser, I make a batch and use it that day. I'm not a professional though! You will have to experiment with it. |
