An I.V. cocktail - mixing supplements ok?

Last night I threw 200 mils of Tech M in my I.V. to bring my magnesium back up to 1400 over the next few days and I also threw in a cap of strontium from kent marine as well.

I think I read that they mixable but I was wondering if you had any experience that was positive or negative from doing this?

I have always wondered about this idea. I have always been too uneasy about trying it out though, let us know what happens.

I have no idea Matt, but I have read that mixing chemicals before introducing to the tank is not a good idea, dont ask why cuz I can't remember. I guess it changes the chemistry of the stuff added when mixed.

Yeah if you look at the 2-part Cal/Alk stuff. The mag and the stron are usually in the calcium part of the mix. You can mix them together or even with calcium just not with the Alk buffers or you get insoluble precipitate
