Default How to raise pH without raising ALK???

I'm having some problems keeping the pH up in my water.

Current Readings:
pH: 7.9
Amonia: 0
Nitrite: 0
Nitrate: 0
Alkalinity: 5.0 meql
Calcium: 450

I've been putting in Kent Marine Superbuffer dKH in which will bring up my pH but it's driving my Alkalinity through the roof!

Any ideas???

I did read this article and he says that an aceptable pH range is from 7.8 - 8.5???
