Jason do you use an Off gasser ? that will double the amount of effulient from the reactor. I just use a large section if 1.1/2 PVC about 10 inches long stood vertically in the sump and capped on the bottom and I shove the effulient discharge line to the bottom and fill the pipe with media. A air stone in the pipe will also near the top to help raise the CO'2 laden waters P.H
