| Good 2 part solution recommendations? Hi, kinda new to the forum..
just wondering if any of you have an recommendations for a good two part solution for calcium/alkalinity/mag
i saw the randy solution is kind of outdated, being that the calcium chloride found in most retail stores is now not recommended to put in a home aquarium.. so i dont think i want to mess w/ this recipe...
any other links.. or regiments you all use would be nice...
would be for a 30 gallon nano reef
and a 58 reef |

| I have access to a better Ca.Chloride that is far more pure then Randy's and you can totally use it with no problems as he used Dow and they reformulated their.. I get mine through a buddy who manages a concrete plant and he is the Lab Tech who controls the standards for the states mixtures for high ways Just mix it like you read . If interested ? P/M me I'll get you the info. I use it now to boost mine when the Ca reactor lags a little and needs a boost. My ca is 97% Calcium and 2 % Magnesium and 1% carbonate _________ Some of the world's greatest feats were accomplished by people not smart enough to know they were impossible (Doug Larson) |
