Default Fin rot maybe

My neon damsel has got a torn anal fin and opening & closeing his mouth rapidly, before this he did start to hide alot in rocks only coming out when i fed, he is out all the time now but this? what can i treat him in the main tank with if it is fin rot i do not have a quarantine at the mo, will melafix be alright?

Get some Maracyn
Maracyn

Use a QT if you have one, if not, I have had some good success dosing the main tank. I am a beliver that if one has it, you should be safe and treat the tank anyway.

he is not being chased alot, he is the boss of the tank, but i did not do a water change for over 2 months due to cycle, could this be the culprit???

Its difficult for us to get hold of such treatments in the UK. They have to be given to you by a vet.
