Who, besides me, adds air to their system via an air pump, either in main tank or sump?
It is something I have long done to keep surface scum to a minimum and make extra sure the tank is fully oxygenated.

My tank gets more than enough air thru the skimmer. I run an airstone when I feed my LPS. < Because its impossible to feed with the main pumps on :/ _________ 14g Oceanic Cube
