Trying to fight this naturally so we will see how it goes. Just wandering how many people have it currently... it seems i see the stuff in the stores a lot and in other peoples tank pics.

Not currently and hopefully not any time soon. Haven't had an algae problem. I'm hoping it's due to my stingy feeding habits.

I had some starting at one end of the tank. It seems to be going away on its own, along with nearly all the algae in the tank.

I had a little around the 3-4 month mark with my tank, went away after a couple of weeks. Haven't seen it since ;)

I have a ton in my mantis tank. I took out all the rocks except the one my mantis makes his den in and scrubbed them off. It was clear for a while but it came back. I am thinking about setting up an algae turf scrubber and hopefully starve it out.

My tank is ate up with it....it is getting better now though. It is hard to get rid of if you let it get out of hand....Find the source and get it out and keep nitrates and phosphates in check and it will go away...and keep the over feeding down

I never had it when I had my coralife 125 skimmer going, but since adding my buddy's corals and disrupting the water flow and downsizing to a CPR backpack skimmer while transitioning to a 180 g tank and selling my good skimmer, it's been hard to keep up enough skimmiing and flow in my tank to prevent the cyano here and there in the low flow areas. Hopefully in the next 2 weeks the big tank will be up and running, and the 55 will be 1/2 mile away at Phil's house with cichlids in it!
