Default Cycle?
Am putting together nano for my two lost (but now found) percs.

Question is, if I use rock, water, corals from main tank, but new sand, do I have to worry about a cycle occuring?

Poor fish. They need a nice safe "home."

You might have a mini cycle but I would go for it regardless seeing as the clowns don't stand a chance in your main tank.

People do it ALL the time. Just give it an hour or so before you drop the fish in

A couple of guys on NanoReef have completely stocked (corals included) a 10-20g after having LS + LR + used water in for <6hrs

Don't worry...they are back living in the overflow again. Quite safe till I get new home put together.
